Next-Generation Maritime
Software for the S-100 Era

We build the blocks your maritime systems are made of, starting with a strict-conformance S-100 chart engine. Ready-made libraries, product development and consulting for the companies building navigation systems.

Status The chart engine is in active development and this site is growing alongside it. Early discussions with maritime software companies, equipment manufacturers and integration partners are welcome - get in touch.

Our products

Built on our framework

The S-100 Viewer showing a tidal cycle over the harbour entrance

S-100 Chart Engine

Seven S-100 based products are integrated and displayed together. Our framework is delivered as C++ libraries with a Qt-based API. The S-100 Viewer is the reference client, built on top of it, shown here.

The S-57 to S-101 Converter, showing cells queued for conversion

S-57 to S-101 Converter

Converts an S-57 portfolio to conformant S-101 exchange sets per IHO S-65 Annex B, with every decision reported against the clause behind it.

About the converter →

Chart imagery rendered by our S-100 chart engine. Source data: NOAA Office of Coast Survey, retrieved from the NOAA Open Data Dissemination programme, August 2026. S-101 converted by EC Consulting from NOAA S-57 under IHO S-65 Annex B: derived data, not an official NOAA product. Not for navigation.

Foundations for Your Systems

We build components for your maritime applications. Our libraries are made to sit inside your product and carry the parts you would rather not build twice.

Standards Focused

Aligned with the S-100 framework and IHO standards.

One Framework

Our products share an architecture, so the pieces fit each other.

Future Ready

Continuously evolving to support emerging S-100 products.

In development

Where the project stands today

The S-100 chart engine is the first product and the current focus. It is well advanced and currently in testing, with the S-164 conformance work under way.

Planned beyond it: a wider maritime framework sharing the same architecture, with libraries for NMEA, AIS, tracked targets, routes, own ship and past track, navigation tools, and a consolidated set of simulator applications for development and testing. Alongside the products we take on product development and consulting for customers building their own systems.
